Global initiatives present a unique set of challenges. Teams with diverse time zones, work cultures, and abilities. Subsystems and services to be integrated in an overall solution. Costs and risks from coordination are 40% or greater of real effort, yet difficult to predict and significant consequences if ignored. Experts with decades of experience offer case study and best practice techniques for global projects, including distributed product development, outsourcing/ offshoring, and virtual teams. |
